Stagehands at the Expo 2025 in Osaka

Expo 2025 in Osaka is one of the most important world exhibitions and is being held under the motto ‘Designing Future Society for Our Lives’. It will take place in Osaka from 13 April to 13 October 2025 and offers a platform for presenting global innovations and technological advances. It aims to develop solutions to the most pressing challenges of our time. The event attracts visitors from all over the world and includes numerous pavilions where countries and companies showcase their latest technologies and cultural achievements.

One of these pavilions will be staffed by Stagehands. Stagehands technicians will arrive in Japan a month before the start of the Expo to ensure that all preparations are finalised and the technology is ready for the start of the Expo. To ensure smooth communication and avoid cultural misunderstandings, Stagehands will provide two translators who are fluent in English and Japanese.

During the Expo, Stagehands technicians will ensure that all technical aspects of the pavilion run smoothly. During the day, a camera team will collect impressions that will be visualised and presented in the evening. This visual presentation requires careful planning and execution in order to convey the essence of the Expo and inspire the audience.

Since opening a branch in Japan in 2016, Stagehands has continued to expand its international presence. This expansion was made possible by a former German technician who had discovered his love for Japanese culture and built a bridge between the two countries. Since then, Stagehands has been involved in various major projects, including the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
