Stagehands.net at Gamescom 2019

Once again this year Stagehands.net was involved with providing crews for Gamescom 2019. Gamescom is one of the largest gaming conventions in the world, with on average around 370,000 visitors and over 1,000 different exhibitors present each year. It is one of the region’s most exciting conferences. Some of the biggest names in gaming, such as Blizzard, Microsoft, Xbox, and many others show up to display some of their latest games and equipment.

This year we worked with a large “free to play” gaming company. Setting up LED video walls, lighting, speakers, and several displays. With such a large event, involving so many people, it is important to have crew leaders who can coordinate the various tasks that need to be done. This is one area that Stagehands specializes in. We provide crew leaders who have a lot of experience with these kinds of events and can easily coordinate the crew members throughout the project. Meaning less stress for the client who can then concentrate on other things that need to be done. We also make sure that either one person is present throughout the whole project or that the crew leader that takes over for them knows what is going on, so that when crew members change there isn’t a need to completely brief a new team on what to do. There is someone there on the team who can explain to any new crew members what needs to be done.
