Stagehands.net at Gamescom 2019

Once again this year Stagehands.net was involved with providing crews for Gamescom 2019. Gamescom is one of the largest gaming conventions in the world, with on average around 370,000 visitors and over 1,000 different exhibitors present each year. It is one of the region’s most exciting conferences. Some of the biggest names in gaming, such as Blizzard, Microsoft, Xbox, and many others show up to display some of their latest games and equipment.

This year we worked with a large “free to play” gaming company. Setting up LED video walls, lighting, speakers, and several displays. With such a large event, involving so many people, it is important to have crew leaders who can coordinate the various tasks that need to be done. This is one area that Stagehands specializes in. We provide crew leaders who have a lot of experience with these kinds of events and can easily coordinate the crew members throughout the project. Meaning less stress for the client who can then concentrate on other things that need to be done. We also make sure that either one person is present throughout the whole project or that the crew leader that takes over for them knows what is going on, so that when crew members change there isn’t a need to completely brief a new team on what to do. There is someone there on the team who can explain to any new crew members what needs to be done.

If you are looking for support in setup for your next event, concert or conference StageHands.net is here to help supply any crew you will need to make your setup a breeze. Whether it’s for rigging setup, lighting, sound, or many other areas StageHands.net has the crew you need. For more information on the services we offer and for a free quote feel free to CONTACT US HERE, and we will get back to you ASAP!

We look forward to hearing from you!

StageHands.net At Tanztee 2019

Last weekend stagehands.net supplied crews for Schlager.de-Tanztee 2019. The large musical event took place at the Grugahalle in Essen, Germany. Schlager is one of the most popular music genres in Germany and there are many events featuring Schlager singers across Germany each year. At this event the two main performers where “Die Amigos” and “Fantasy”, two well-known groups that have been producing music for years. In addition to these two groups there was also “Christian Lais”, “Pia Malo”, and “Die Schlagerpiloten”. It’s always nice to be a part of interesting shows with lots of classic lights and sound effects and Schlager shows are almost always exactly that.

Summer Rail work in the Ruhrgebiet

Its that time of year again here in the Ruhrgebiet. Time for major construction projects along the rail system of the area. As in most summers this will affect train lines from Bochum to Düsseldorf and everywhere in between. Not a pleasant situation, but a necessary one.

This year StageHands helped with this project by installing all the signage and information on what changes will be occurring in different areas. In large stations such as Duisburg Hbf and small stations like Essen West Bf you can now see signs and banners we helped to install. Hopefully these will be helpful in the coming weeks.

English-speaking Crews in the Ruhr Area and More

One area that Stagehands specializes in is multilingual crews. All of our on-site managers speak both English and German proficiently and some also speak other languages in addition to those two. Most of our crew members are also proficient in both German and English.

Having English-speaking crews can be a huge help in the event business where many times you have companies from all over the world working together. It is not uncommon for our on-site managers to provide our customers with help as impromptu translators. Something that you don’t always think about needing until you’re in the moment.

So if you are a company from the UK ,or anywhere else, looking for crews to set up lighting, sound, stage, rigging, etc. And you want to book from a company that you know can provide English-speaking crews than Stagehands has just what you need. Whether your project is in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, the Ruhr Area (Dusseldorf, Essen, Duisburg, Bochum, Dortmund), or anywhere in Europe and more, we can get you a quote for the crew you need ASAP. Stagehands At The Formula E Championship In Berlin

Last weekend Stagehands was at Tempelhof Airport setting up an exhibition area for the 2019 ABB FIA Formula E Championship event taking place on the 25th in Berlin. The Tempelhof airfield is a retired airport that is now used to host many different types of events. With huge open fields not far from the city center the location is perfect for large events.

For this event we set up large sections of trussing along with lighting and sound equipment. It’s always nice to work at such an exciting job site, add to that the warm sunny weather we had this weekend and it doesn’t get much better.

We also provided the ABB FIA Formula E Championship with crews at their recent events in Paris and Monaco. They also have additional upcoming events in Bern and then the Finale in New York. For more information about these events visit their website at www.fiaformulae.com/en

Stagehands at Babywelt, Essen Messe

Last week stagehands had the pleasure of working at Babywelt at the Essen Messe / Conference Center. Set-up included lighting, sound, and putting up several large displays. These displays can be delicate and require a bit of concentration of course. Nothing we aren’t used to though and everything went smoothly. For more information about future Babywelt events in Germany click here.

Stagehands provides these services and more not only in Germany but worldwide. Including all over Europe, Asia, South and North America, Africa, and Australia. For more information on any services we can provide for you please contact us here.
